A Maharashtrian wedding moves fast. Haldi in the morning, the muhurat in the afternoon, the reception at night. A simple checklist shared with your photographer a week before the wedding makes sure nothing important is missed.
Share the schedule early
Send the timings for every ritual: haldi, mehendi, sakharpuda, the wedding ceremony, varmala, pheras and vidaai. Mention when the muhurat is fixed, because that moment cannot be repeated.
List the family photographs
Write down the family groups you want: parents, grandparents, siblings, mama and mami, close friends. Name one cousin on each side who knows everyone and can call people for photos.
Tell us what matters to you
- Special rituals or traditions in your family
- Heirloom jewellery or a paithani from your grandmother
- Guests travelling from far who must be photographed
- Any surprise performance at the sangeet
Plan a few minutes for couple portraits
Twenty quiet minutes after the ceremony, in good light, gives you the portraits you will frame. We will suggest the best time and spot at your venue.
